A special postal item delivery point for customers of Riga post office No. 3 starts operation from the 15th of January

To ensure more convenient receipt of postal items, a special delivery point will start its operation from the 15th of January 2018. It will be intended for the customers who until now have received their items in Riga post office No. 3 located in the shopping centre Mols at 46 Krasta Street. From now on, the delivery of items for the customers of Latvijas Pasts whose residential area’s postal codes are LV-1003 and LV-1019 will be provided at 12/14 Jersikas Street, Riga. The decision to establish a separate delivery point was adopted in the light of the increase in the number of items and the limited space of Riga post office No. 3 in the premises of the shopping centre.

The new postal services location of Latvijas Pasts is intended only for delivery of items, thus speeding up the customer service process and providing maximum convenience to customers who do not require other postal services. In turn, all other postal services will continue to be available in Riga post office No. 3 located in the shopping centre Mols.

The opening hours of the item delivery point at 12/14 Jersikas Street are adjusted in such a way that working customers can also receive their items in a convenient way: it will be open from 8 AM to 7 PM every weekday and from 10 AM to 3 PM on Saturdays. The car can be parked free of charge next to the delivery point, and it is easily accessible by public transport.

All customers of Latvijas Pasts whose residential area’s postal codes are LV-1003 and LV-1019 are being notified with the help of special notices in their letter-boxes regarding the planned changes aimed at improving the item delivery process.
