Receiving and delivering parcels from/to parcel machines

Latvijas Pasts provides a possibility of sending parcels to 61 parcel machines throughout Latvia, delivering parcels to a parcel machine via a courier, as well as storing parcels in parcel machines.

- What is the difference between a prepayment code and preparation of a parcel online?

Online preparation of a parcel allows you to register the parcel and print out the packing note so you do not have to do it at the parcel machine. Prepayment code is the only way to pay for a parcel when you prepare the parcel at a parcel machine, because there is NO possibility of paying with a payment card or cash at the machine.

 - How can I get an invoice when I purchase a code?

You will receive the invoice and all related information to the email address you specified when you purchased the code.

 - How can I deliver the parcel to the parcel machine of Latvijas Pasts after the preparation and payment?

After having paid for delivery of the parcel, you will receive a parcel number and a packing note to your specified email address. Print out the note, attach it to the parcel and go to the nearest parcel machine of Latvijas Pasts accepting parcels of particular size — the maximum parcel size is 38x38x58 cm.
In case you cannot print out the note, indicate your mobile phone number and the recipient’s mobile phone number as well as the delivery machine on the parcel. You will be able to put the parcel into the machine by entering the parcel number that was sent to your email address and the sender’s (your) mobile phone number you provided when you prepared the parcel.

 - What should I do if I realize that I have entered the recipient’s mobile phone number incorrectly after the preparation and payment for the parcels?

Contact the Customer Service Centre of Latvijas Pasts by calling 27008001 or 67008001. Employees of the Customer Service Centre will change the phone number specified to the correct one.

- What should I do if the parcel is too large and it does not fit in any compartment of the parcel machine?

Unfortunately, it will not be possible to send or deliver such a parcel by using the parcel machines of Latvijas Pasts.

 - What should I do if I scan the barcode of the parcel / enter the parcel number, but the compartment does not open?

 - What should I do if the door is accidentally closed before I insert the parcel?

 - What should I do if I receive a parcel addressed to another person?

 - What should I do if an empty compartment opens when I receive a parcel?

 - Can I pay for parcel delivery at the parcel machine?

It is not possible to make a payment at the parcel machines of Latvijas Pasts, but it is possible to use one of the following alternative payment methods: a) to prepare the parcel online if you have a smartphone with Internet access; b) to pay for the parcel with a prepayment code that you purchase in advance; c) to purchase a prepayment code using Mobilly (you must be a Mobilly customer).

 - Can I track my parcel?

To track the parcel, visit the website of Latvijas Pasts: www.pasts.lv.In the “Search for a Parcel” section, enter the number of the registered parcel consisting of a 13-character code, for example, AB123456789CD.

- How can I be sure about the security of payments and card data?

The payment processing solution is provided by Citadele banka and First Data Latvia, which ensure the highest level of data protection.
