Electronic notifications

The most convenient and quickest way to receive information about postal item addressed to you is to receive this information in SMS.

The most important advantages of receiving electronic notifications:

• SMS is delivered faster than printed pick-up invitation; 
• When receiving SMS, you can plan visiting Postal office to receive your postal item on the go without checking your mailbox at home;
• When receiving SMS, it is convenient to re-direct your postal item to another pickup point, such as, Circle K gas stations or another address or parcel machine; 
• SMS is sent to the particular addressee’s telephone number;
• SMS is not getting lost in comparison to the mailbox that, for example, cannot be locked or is otherwise damaged;
• Many resources are preserved: nature, time consumption, human labor.

Latvijas Pasts will process the data submitted by the Customer only for the purpose to provide service Electronic notifications to receive consignments in effective manner and until withdrawal of the Customer’s consent.  The Customer’s personal data is processed according to applicable data protection laws and regulations, internal policies, guidelines, and procedures of Latvijas Pasts.
