Only some post offices in the largest Latvian cities will provide postal services during Līgo holiday on the 23rd of June, while the 24th of June, Jāņi Day, will be a day off for the employees of Latvijas Pasts. On the 25th of June, post offices will work according to the Saturday schedule, but some post offices will have changes in their opening hours on that day. The customers who get their benefits and pensions granted by the State Social Insurance Agency (VSAA) delivered to their place of residence through the intermediary of Latvijas Pasts with the expected pay-out period during the holidays will receive the money at an earlier date.
On Thursday, the 23rd of June, which is Līgo Day, postal services will be available in some post offices in Riga, Daugavpils, Jelgava, Jēkabpils, Liepāja and Mārupe, whereas on Jāņi Day, the 24th of June, post offices will be closed. On Saturday, the 25th of June, post offices will work according to the usual Saturday schedule, but some post offices will have changes in their working hours on that day.

Pensions and benefits granted by the VSAA which are to be received by customers at their places of residence on the 23rd of June will be delivered on the 21st of June, and the 22nd of June will be the payday for those customers whose pensions and benefits are scheduled for the 24th of June.
Dozens of Latvijas Pasts parcel lockers can be used for collecting and sending items throughout the country according to the opening hours of the shopping centres or availability of the parcel lockers during the holiday period.
