Authorize another person to receive your mail. The authorised person will be able to receive the consignments at the address of delivery or at the post office on presentation of the passport or identity card and the authorisation or by naming the authorisation number.

Design in a post office or at a postman's Home

Fill in the entitlement form, submit it to the post office or to the postmaster at home on presentation of an identity document (the presence of the authorised person is not required for the drawing up of the authorisation).
The authorisation shall come into force after payment of the service and verification and registration of the information included in the authorisation in the VAS “Latvijas pasta”.
In order to receive a consignment, the authorised person does not have to present the authorisation in paper form if the data regarding the authorisation are at the disposal of the VAS “Latvijas pasta”.
Before receiving the consignment, the authorised person shall inform the staff Member that the consignee has drawn up a mandate to receive the consignments.

Design with a secure electronic signature

The credentials form must be completed and signed with a secure electronic signature.
Service charges must be made according to the price list.
Send the token signed with a secure electronic signature and the payment order to the e-mail address info@pasts.lv.
The authorisation shall come into force after payment of the service and verification and registration of the information included in the authorisation in the VAS “Latvijas pasta”.
Prior to receipt of the consignment, the postal office shall inform the employee that you have an authorisation drawn up electronically and submitted to the Latvian Post.

Powers of attorney

Other powers to receive items

We shall also issue a consignment to an authorised person by presenting full powers (for a natural person) or commercial authorisations issued by a notarial or Orphan's court. You can submit a notarial or Orphan's court approved full power or a commercial full Member of a legal person to the SAS “Latvijas pasta” for registration (to form a one-time service fee) so that an authorised person does not have to present it each time upon receipt of the items, which significantly reduces the time spent in the post office.
