Company financial statements and reports
Overview of the financial statements and reports of Latvijas Pasts
The salary at the Post is determined by the amount of work performed by the employee, the employee's qualifications and the quality of work.
Salary rates are determined taking into account the general economic trends of the country, the financial capabilities of the company and the salary system for job levels.
A salary is guaranteed for a full job unit (load) that is not less than the minimum wage set by the state. For employees who are paid a minimum wage, it is increased simultaneously with the increase in the minimum wage set by the state.
The company has a time wage system, except for employees who are paid a piece rate wage system. The amount of salary is determined in the employment contract, taking into account the principles of determining wages.
When determining or reviewing an employee's salary, the immediate supervisor prepares a job description and writes to the director - the keeper of the salary budget - an application regarding the employee's desired salary amount, taking into account:
• the salary rate (upper limit) for a specific position for full-time work
the value of work in a specific region
• the workload of a specific position
• an assessment of the employee's qualifications
Within the framework of a collective labor agreement, the salary is reviewed annually depending on the inflation rate in the country, the work results of the company and individual structural units.
The company pays employees commissions for the performance of services, which are specified in internal regulatory enactments.
Employees receive bonuses in the cases specified in state regulatory enactments: for additional work, work in special conditions, night work, overtime work, work on a weekly rest day or holiday.
The company pays employees the benefits specified in the collective labor agreement. Within financial possibilities - cash gifts during the Midsummer and Christmas holidays.
