Parcels for delivery by courier can be processed on the self-service website express.pasts.lv. Both letter-sized and oversized parcels can be delivered by courier.
Handing over the pallet to the courier
Parcels for delivery by courier can be processed on the self-service website express.pasts.lv. A parcel exceeding 30 kg must be packed on a pallet for delivery to the courier, and the additional service Oversized must be selected.

What type of shipment should I choose if I plan to drop off my parcel at the post office?
Tracked item
We deliver tracked mail to the recipient without a signature, placing it in a mailbox if the size is appropriate. We accept tracked mail for domestic and certain foreign countries. You can send documents, written notices, or various small, non-breakable items in a tracked mail.
Registered shipments, which are issued to the recipient against a signature for receipt. For faster and more convenient communication, when sending a registered and/or insured shipment, we ask that you indicate the recipient's phone number on the address side of the shipment!
Insured item
The shipment is insured against loss, theft or damage. The insurance amount is determined by the sender. The shipment has a confirmation of the fact of delivery. It is issued to the addressee against a signature (or unique code). The shipment, depending on the type of shipment, weight, size and additional services, is delivered to the addressee at home, at a parcel machine or at a post office. The addressee can redirect the shipment to the most convenient place for them to receive it - home, at a parcel machine or at another post office.

Courier delivery (Baltic Express)
Courier delivery (Baltic Express) shipments can be processed at a post office or on the self-service website express.pasts.lv. The shipment is delivered to the recipient at the specified address by a courier. The shipment is issued against a signature.
Insured
The shipment is insured against loss, theft or damage. The insurance amount is determined by the sender, but it cannot exceed the value of the items included in the shipment. The shipment has a confirmation of the fact of delivery. It is issued to the addressee against a signature (or unique code). The shipment, depending on the type of shipment, weight, size and additional services, is delivered to the addressee at home, at a parcel machine or at a post office.

“Economy” is a simple letter correspondence shipment with items or a small package up to 2 kg. The shipment is not registered and cannot be tracked.
Economy shipments are delivered to a mailbox (if the size of the shipment allows), to the nearest post office or to another pickup point. Please note that the delivery method may differ depending on the country of destination. When choosing Economy, the only additional service available is a courier call to hand over the shipment.

“Premium” or Express Mail Service (EMS) parcel is delivered to the recipient at the specified address by courier.
The maximum permissible weight of Premium parcels is 30 kg and the dimensions: the length of any dimension must not exceed 1.5 m, the sum of the length and the largest circumference must not exceed 3 m.
Exceptions - in Norway, Finland and Sweden, parcels are delivered to delivery points

Paku max pieļaujamais svars ir 30 kg un izmēri: jebkuras dimensijas garums nedrīkst pārsniegt 1.5 m, garuma un lielākā apkārtmēra summa nedrīkst pārsniegt 3 m.

Apdrošināšanas pakalpojums paredz sūtījuma satura apdrošināšanu par deklarētu vērtību pret zaudējumu, nolaupīšanu vai bojāšanu. Šos sūtījumus saņēmējam izsniedz pret parakstu par saņemšanu.

Choose the “Fragile” option if the contents are easily breakable and require special care during delivery. Pack the parcel securely according to its weight, shape, and content to ensure its protection during transit. Add a visible "Fragile" label to the shipment.

When arranging a courier delivery within Latvia, you can also include leasing documents. We will handle the processing and return of these documents at a time convenient for you – daily, weekly, twice a month, or once a month.

Oversized Items
You can send parcels with non-standard shapes and sizes within Latvia by preparing the shipment at a customer centre, post office, or on the self-service site express.pasts.lv.
The sum of the parcel’s length and the largest perimeter may be up to 450 cm, and no single dimension may exceed 200 cm.
An oversized parcel surcharge is applied – 50% of the base parcel shipping cost.
If submitting via express.pasts.lv:
Applies to shipments where the sum of all three dimensions exceeds 210 cm and/or the weight exceeds 35 kg.
The surcharge for oversized parcels is 25% of the base shipping cost.
