Types of postal shipments
Ordinary shipments
Send a small parcel in the most affordable way — as a ordinary shipment.
These are unregistered postal shipments for which no receipt is issued.
The shipment is delivered to the addressee by placing it in the letterbox, if the size allows.
Trackable shipments
If You want to follow Your shipment, choose a trackable shipment.
Like simple shipments, these are also unregistered and are delivered to the addressee’s letterbox.
The difference is that You receive a shipment number, which allows You to track every stage of the shipment – from drop-off to delivery at the destination.
Registered shipments
A secure and convenient way to send a parcel within Latvia.
A registered shipment is a registered postal shipment for which You receive a receipt. It confirms that the shipment has been handed over at a postal service point.
The shipment is delivered to the addressee against signature or other confirmation in the system, which records delivery details and proves that the shipment has been delivered.
A tracking number is assigned to every registered shipment, allowing You to track its progress from drop-off to delivery.
Additional services can also be added to these shipments.
Insured shipments
Our most secure type of shipment
An insured shipment is a registered postal shipment whose contents are insured for the declared value against loss, theft, or damage.
For each insured shipment, the sender receives a receipt, which confirms that the shipment has been handed over at a postal service point.
Like registered shipments, insured shipments are delivered against signature and can be tracked online using the shipment number.
Additional services can also be added to these shipments.
