Refund of fee if prohibited substances or items are found in the shipment

If prohibited substances or items are found in a shipment, we will return it.

In the Cross-border bans and restrictions section, you’ll find information about which items and goods cannot be sent via Pasts.

How to request a refund?

If you’re the sender, you can request a refund of the shipping fee. We will deduct a processing fee from the refundable amount according to the Postal Service tariff.

Choose the option that suits you best:

  • Visit a customer centre or post office and submit a completed application with all the necessary documents, or
  • Complete the application electronically, sign it with a secure electronic signature, and send it to info@pasts.lv.

Refund of shipping fee

The applicable domestic rate for sending the specific shipment, based on its weight and the type chosen by the customer, plus 40% of the basic shipping fee.
