When receiving a registered or insured shipment, check its contents in the presence of the courier.
If you notice missing items, damage, weight discrepancies, or any other irregularities compared to the waybill, a report will be drawn up and signed by both you and the postal worker. At the same time, the sender may also contact the postal operator to have the situation reviewed.
The Post will start an investigation to determine the cause of the damage.
If the shipment is opened without a postal worker present, we cannot confirm any discrepancies or damage. In such cases, you should submit your claims directly to the sender.
If damage or missing contents are discovered later, take photos documenting the issue, provide a description, and contact the sender regarding a replacement or refund. In such situations, compensation is not the responsibility of the Post, but we can advise you to ensure your next steps follow the required procedure.
