Traceable postal items

Traceable postal items are simple and traceable, which are delivered to addressee by putting the item in addressee’s mailbox without a signature for delivery.
Traceable items can be sent domestically and abroad.
Documents, written notifications or small, unbreakable items can be sent in a traceable item.

The packaging of international postal item must ensure that the postal employee can check the contents of the item, and the contents are preserved during transportation. It is forbidden to send items, which are forbidden to enter the country of destination, and items which are forbidden to leave Latvia.   • Form according to the conditions of Item addressing rules;
  • List of countries to which traceable postal items are accepted is available here;
  • For postal items with small items add form CN22;
  • Pay and send in any postal office.
