Supervisory Board of Latvijas Pasts

From 21 October 2021, the Supervisory Board of State Joint Stock Company Latvijas Pasts (LP) has started working in its new composition. The position of the Chairman of the Supervisory Board is occupied by Raimonds Dūda, but members of the Supervisory Board are Ivars Blumbergs and Anrī Leimanis.

Raimonds Dūda 

The Chairman of the LP Supervisory Board Raimonds Dūda is an expert in strategic management and financial management with over 20 years of experience in international corporate capital companies at management board and supervisory board level. He obtained a professional Master’s degree in Organisational Management at the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga and a professional Master’s degree in Economics at the BA School of Business and Finance.
His period of authorisation is five years.

Ivars Blumbergs

The area of responsibility of the member of the LP Supervisory Board Ivars Blumbergs in the company are financial management and audit, as well as risk management and internal control. Ivars Blumbergs has over 20 years of experiences in business and financial management, as well as many years of experience in corporate customer relations management in the field of transport energy, telecommunications and audit. He is a certified auditor, a member of the Latvian Association of Certified Auditors. Mr. Blumbergs obtained a professional Master’s degree in Organisational Management at the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga and a Master’s degree in Economics at the Faculty of Economics and Management of the University of Latvia.
His period of authorisation is five years.

Anri Leimanis

Anrī Leimanis, a corporate governance expert with more than 22 years of business experience, serves on the Supervisory Board of RB Rail as an independent member. In addition to his position at RB Rail Anrī Leimanis also serves an an independent member and Vice-Chairperson of the Supervisory Board at Latvijas Mobilais Telefons (LMT), the leading telecommunications operator in Latvia. As part of his community service activities, Anri Leimanis chairs the Public Private Partnership Association of Latvia and actively participates in the work of various other NGOs.
Before his appointment to RB Rail Anrī Leimanis has occupied several senior management positions at Lattelecom Group companies. For 13 years he served as the Chair of the Management Board at the largest private pension fund AS First Closed Pension Fund. Anrī Leimanis holds a LL.M. masters degree in Transnational Business Law from the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law, CA, USA and a MBA degree from the Riga Business School in Latvia. He has performed corporate governance research program at St John’s College, University of Oxford. 
Anri Leimanis is a graduate of the Professional Board Member (2017) and Chair (2019) education programs at the Baltic Institute of the Corporate Governance.As part of his academic activities Anrī Leimanis is working on the PhD research related to international legal framework for Artificial Intelligence.
